London, June 2 -- The comeback of U.S. legend Serena Williams is exciting the tennis world.

Williams, now 44, stepped away from the courts after the 2022 U.S. Open, but on Monday (June 1), the WTA Tour revealed that the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion has accepted a wild-card invitation to compete in doubles at the forthcoming Queen's Club grass-court tournament in London.

She will play with a partner to be announced soon. With the announcement, many from aroundthe tennis world shared their thoughts and admiration for the 39 major titles winner and four-time Olympic gold medallist.
