Hyderabad, Aug. 22 -- : The eighth season of the Tennis Premier League (TPL) will be held at the LB Tennis Stadium in Hyderabad from December 8 to 13, with eight franchise teams competing in the league's 25-point format, organisers said.
The tournament will be held under the auspices of the All India Tennis Association and with the support of the Telangana government.
The matches will be live-streamed on JioHotstar, with international players and leading Indian tennis stars expected to feature.
The season will also see the presence of tennis icons Leander Paes and Sania Mirza, along with Bollywood personalities and team co-owners Rakul Preet Singh and Sonali Bendre Behl.
