Bonn (Germany), Aug. 2 -- India's Ramkumar Ramanathan, partnering Vijay Sundar Prashanth, won the doubles title at the Bonn Open 2026 tennis tournament to register hissecond ATP Challenger crown of the year.
The unseeded Indian tennis players defeated England's Scott Duncan and Adam Heinonen of Sweden 7-6(4), 6-3 in the final to lift the trophy without dropping a single set throughout theclay court tournament on Saturday.
Prashanth and Ramkumar, both from Chennai, showcased impeccable resilience to save nine break points throughout the match which lasted one hour and 31 minutes.
The Indians saved six of these in the opening set, which saw neither side break through and go into the tie-breaker, which Ramkumar and Prashanth won.
