Thiruvananthapuram, May 31 -- Babilu Sankar, a senior official of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and president of the temple employees' association, has filed a contempt of court petition against the District Judge who also oversees the administration of the temple.

According to Sankar, the petition arises from a prolonged dispute linked to his service at the temple and issues relating to his medical leave.

He also alleged that despite repeatedly bringing to public attention what he described as irregularities and administrative lapses within the temple through social media posts backed by documentary evidence, his concerns were not adequately addressed.
