Panchkula, June 1 -- Despite a slight rise in temperatures, Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh continued to experience cooler-than-normal weather on Monday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) reporting that maximum temperatures in both Haryana and Punjab remained more than four degrees Celsius below normal for this time of the year.
The weather department has also forecast thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds at isolated places across the region during the next few days.
