Hyderabad, June 7 -- The state-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) today said it has initiated stringent measures to address alleged irregularities in its Medical Board assessments conducted for dependent and compassionate appointments after the arrest of its two employees.
Two employees have been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the Medical Board irregularities, the Mining company said in a release here.
According to SCCL, allegations had surfaced that large-scale irregularities were taking place in the Medical Board process, with certain middlemen allegedly exploiting innocent workers and collecting substantial amounts of money by promising employment opportunities.
