Hyderabad, July 14 -- Telangana Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Tuesday announced that the state government will launch the Low-Income Group (LIG) Indiramma Housing Scheme in the Hyderabad region on July 20, with a target of constructing one lakh houses in phases by the end of the 2026-27 financial year.
Reviewing the scheme with Housing Department officials at the Secretariat, the Minister said the initiative, conceived under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, aims to fulfil the housing aspirations of the urban poor. He said administrative sanction for the project has already been accorded.
