Hyderabad, Sept. 9 -- The Telangana government on Wednesday reviewed measures for effective implementation of the Gyan Bharatam Mission (GBM), a national initiative aimed at surveying, documenting, conserving and digitising India's manuscript heritage.
A meeting chaired by Special Chief Secretary, Tourism, Culture and Heritage, A Vani Prasad, was held here with district collectors and district nodal officers participating.
The meeting was co-chaired by Special Secretary to Government, Education Department, Venkatesh Dhotre, Director of Tourism Ranjit Nayak and senior officials from Heritage Telangana, National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) and Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) also attended.
