Hyderabad, Sept. 1 -- As many as 9,07,292 claims and objections have been received so far in Telangana during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, according to the Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharsan Reddy.
In a statement released on Tuesday, he said that the draft electoral rolls were published on August 17 at the offices of the respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and on the CEO Telangana website. The list of Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate (ASDD) electors was also made available online.
The period for filing claims and objections will continue until September 16, while notices will be issued and claims and objections disposed of up to October 15.
