Hyderabad, Aug. 26 -- Telangana's expanding economy, driven by growth in IT, pharmaceuticals, defence and aerospace, food processing and the GCC ecosystem, is creating new employment opportunities and fuelling housing demand among young professionals, salaried households and entrepreneurs, Aadhar Housing Finance said on Wednesday.
The state's Telangana Rising 2047 vision targets a USD 1 trillion economy by 2034 and USD 3 trillion by 2047, with economic growth expected to extend beyond Hyderabad through manufacturing, services and rural and peri-urban development, the company said in a release here.
Telangana has a population of 4.35 crore across 1.14 crore households, with youth accounting for 24.8 per cent of the population, it said.
