Hyderabad, Aug. 14 -- Several Telangana police personnel and officers have been selected for prestigious police medals for their distinguished, meritorious and gallant service on the occasion of Independence Day 2026.
The awards recognise their exceptional dedication, courage and commitment to public service.
Two officers have been selected for the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPMDS). They are R Jagadishwar Reddy, Superintendent of Police, Main Intelligence, Hyderabad, and Narsaiah Jogula, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Secunderabad Zone, Hyderabad.
