Hyderabad, March 25 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday informed the Assembly that the state government is gearing up for large-scale production of green energy, with a focus on expanding solar power initiatives across rural and urban areas.
Replying to members' questions during Question Hour, he said the government is examining a proposal to select one village in each mandal as a pilot site for solar power generation, aiming to scale up clean energy production in a decentralised manner.
