Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday alleged that the state had been subjected to severe injustice in the last 11 union Budgets and urged the Central government to allocate higher funds to Telangana in the forthcoming Budget.
Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here, the Minister said that despite Telangana electing eight BJP MPs to the Lok Sabha, the Centre continued to ignore the state's needs. He said the BJP MPs from Telangana should exert pressure on the Central leadership to ensure fair allocation of funds.
