Hyderabad, March 3 -- Telangana on Tuesday successfully met a record peak electricity demand of 18,139 MW - the highest ever in the state's history - without any interruption, said Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu.
The peak demand was recorded at 11:01 AM, marking a new milestone in the state's power sector performance.
Congratulating senior officials and staff of the state power utilities, the Deputy Chief Minister said the unprecedented demand was handled efficiently while ensuring uninterrupted and quality supply.
