Hyderabad, April 14 -- The Telangana government on Tuesday appealed to RTC employees to withdraw their proposed strike, stressing that all concerns can be resolved through dialogue while safeguarding public interest and the transport corporation.

Employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) had earlier announced a statewide strike beginning April 22.

In a statement, State Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the government remains open to discussions and is committed to addressing employee grievances in an amicable manner.

He clarified that while issues related to RTC's merger with the government and trade unions fall under official jurisdiction, all other concerns are open for negotiation.
