Hyderabad, Nov. 17 -- Telangana will honour renowned state writer and poet Andesri with a grand condolence meet that reflects the pride and cultural spirit of Telangana, SC, ST and Divyang Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar announced on Monday.
The Minister convened a preparatory meeting at his residence with poets, artists, Dalit organisations, public associations and employee unions to discuss arrangements for the ceremony.
He said the funeral would stand as a testament to the respect Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has extended to poets and artists.
Laxman Kumar said the Chief Minister has always stood by Dalit-Bahujan communities - from decisions on SC classification to measures ensuring dignity for artists.
