Hyderabad, March 31 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Tuesday directed officials to conduct Gram Sabhas extensively across the state from April 2 as part of the "Praja Palana - Praja Pranalika (99-Day Action Plan)".

Addressing District Collectors through a video conference from Praja Bhavan, the Deputy Chief Minister asked officials to ensure uniform conduct of Gram Sabhas and effective communication of government schemes to the public.

He said the meetings should begin with the Chief Minister's message, followed by a detailed explanation of welfare schemes being implemented by the state government, as well as new initiatives to be launched from June 2.
