Hyderabad, March 16 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao will launch the statewide distribution of 'Farmer Kits' under the National Natural Farming Scheme on Tuesday at 1000 hours from the State Secretariat.
The initiative aims to encourage and support farmers practising natural farming across the state. Under the programme, a total of 61,125 farmers will benefit from the distribution drive, which will be conducted across 489 clusters, with 125 farmers selected from each cluster.
The Farmer Kit has been designed to promote awareness and recognition of natural farming practices. Each kit contains a cloth bag, 'Kshetra Darshini' (field guide) diary, identity card, special calendar, cap, pen and pocket diary.
