Hyderabad, April 1 -- The Telangana government has initiated comprehensive measures to prevent drinking water shortages in rural areas during the summer season, with the Department of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development stepping up monitoring and response mechanisms.
Acting on the directives of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka), officials have intensified efforts to ensure uninterrupted water supply across villages.
The Minister is conducting daily reviews of the drinking water situation, receiving district-wise reports on supply status, shortage-affected habitations, and timelines for resolving issues, and issuing immediate directions for remedial action.
