Hyderabad, June 19 -- In a major digital governance initiative, the Telangana government on Friday launched School Education Services on WhatsApp, enabling more than 18 lakh students and parents to receive educational updates and access key services directly through the messaging platform.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched the initiative at L.B. Stadium.
Developed by the ESD-MeeSeva Division of the ITE&C Department in collaboration with the School Education Department, the platform provides services including progress reports, hall tickets, marks memos, examination results, bonafide and transfer certificates, SSC memo corrections and access to over 83,000 historic SSC memos.
