Hyderabad, May 19 -- The Telangana government has extended the upper age limit for recruitment to government jobs by another year.
According to a Government Order (GO) issued on Tuesday, the upper age limit for government job applicants has been increased to 44 years. The revised age relaxation will remain in force for one year.
The government, however, clarified that the relaxation will not apply to uniformed services such as the police department.
Following the formation of Telangana state, the government had relaxed the upper age limit for recruitment for ten years. The relaxation was later extended for another two years.
