Hyderabad, July 16 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday said the Congress government is committed to maximising the utilisation of Godavari river waters through gravity and lift irrigation projects and completing the Sitarama Lift Irrigation Scheme at the earliest.
Speaking to the media fter inspecting the Sitarama Lift Irrigation Scheme and the Seethamma Sagar Multipurpose Project in Bhadradri Kothagudem district along with Ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Bhatti said the government was implementing a comprehensive plan to tackle climate change challenges and ensure water security for agriculture.
