Hyderabad, Feb. 28 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday directed officials to revoke the orders issued for the allotment of land belonging to Sharada Peetham to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) and restore ownership to the spiritual organisation.

The direction came after representatives of Sharada Peetham brought to the Chief Minister's notice alleged construction activity undertaken by the Water Board on its land at Kokapet, an official release said here.

Revanth Reddy immediately convened a meeting with senior officials at the State Secretariat and reviewed the status of the ongoing construction on the Peetham's land.
