Hyderabad, Oct. 28 -- Telangana Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu today announced that the State aims to become the "Aero-Engine Capital" of India by 2030, outlining an ambitious roadmap to attract major national and international aerospace companies to invest in Telangana.

He made the announcement while virtually inaugurating the new Aero Engine Rotative Components Manufacturing Facility jointly established by Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) and Safran Aircraft Engines at Adibatla.

The ceremony was held at ITC Kohenur in HITEC City here. The facility, built with an investment of Rs 425 crore, is expected to create employment for 500 people.
