Hanumakonda, July 9 -- Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Thursday urged citizens to actively participate in building a drug-free Telangana and a drug-free India, calling for the fight against narcotics to be transformed into a people's movement.
Addressing the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan - Drug-Free Telangana' programme organised by the Police Department at the Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC) in Hanumakonda, the Governor said eliminating drug abuse was not merely the responsibility of the government but required collective efforts from families, communities and citizens.
