Hyderabad, Nov. 3 -- Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma today unveiled the logo of the first Hyderabad International Short Film Festival, scheduled to be held from December 19 to 21 at Prasad IMAX, during a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan's Durbar Hall.

The event was attended by National Award-winning director C Uma Maheshwara Rao, Chief Patron of the festival; Nandan Babu, Principal of the Dadasaheb Phalke School of Film Studies; and Priyanka, Managing Director of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation (TSFDC).

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that short films play an important role in highlighting social issues and creative storytelling.
