Hyderabad, July 31 -- Telangana Excise, Tourism, Culture and Archaeology Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Friday said the State Government is exploring the development of wine tourism by studying successful international models during his ongoing visit to the United States.
As part of his tour, the Minister visited the Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg and another winery in Ashburn, Virginia, where he studied vineyard management, winemaking processes, tourism integration and hospitality practices.
He also interacted with winery officials on grape cultivation, fermentation, storage, bottling, quality standards and marketing.
