Hyderabad, July 30 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday appeared before the Special Judicial First Class Magistrate Court (Excise Cases) at Nampally in connection with a case registered against him over the alleged violation of COVID-19 protocols during a hospital visit in 2022.
The case pertains to Bhatti Vikramarka's visit to the Kothagudem Government Hospital on January 4, 2022, when he was the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader.
He had visited Sahithi, the lone surviving victim at the time of a family suicide and immolation case in Palvancha, to console her.
