Mulugu, April 7 -- Telangana Director General of Police Shivdhar Reddy on Tuesday declared the Karreguttalu hills in Mulugu district as free from Naxal influence and launched a series of development and welfare initiatives in the region.
During his visit, Reddy laid the foundation stone for multiple development works in Pamunuru village and assured continued support for the welfare of the Guthi Koya tribal community.
On the occasion, he distributed welfare assistance, including an auto-rickshaw, a two-wheeler and essential provisions, to seven economically disadvantaged families.
