Khammam, July 8 -- Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) C V Anand has directed police officials to intensify action against narcotics, cybercrime, organised crime and property offences.
The DGP on Wednesday reviewed policing, crime control, road safety and technology-driven policing initiatives in Khammam during his district tour.
Reviewing crime trends, the DGP instructed police to strengthen night patrolling, strictly follow SOPs, ensure accurate CCTNS data management and avoid interference in civil and land disputes.
He also ordered action against the sand mafia, soil mafia and rowdy elements while stressing justice for the poor and helpless.
