Hyderabad, March 21 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud on Friday launched a sharp attack on both the BRS and BJP, alleging a covert alliance between the two parties and questioned their silence on recent drug-related incidents.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, he congratulated newly appointed party whips and asserted that the Congress government is taking stringent action to curb drug activities in the State.

"Our government is cracking down with an iron fist on drugs. We are committed to making Telangana a drug-free state," he said.
