Hyderabad, May 20 -- In view of the severe heatwave warnings issued by the Meteorological Department, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has urged people to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions against intense heat conditions prevailing across the state.
The Chief Minister noted that North Telangana districts are likely to experience particularly severe heatwave conditions and directed officials concerned to take all precautionary measures to safeguard public health.
Reddy instructed authorities to ensure an adequate supply of ORS packets and directed officials to pay special attention to uninterrupted drinking water and electricity supply in affected areas.
