Hyderabad/New Delhi, June 11 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday urged union Minister for Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar to grant immediate approval for the long pending Hyderabad Metro Phase-2 project.

The Chief Minister met with the union Minister in Delhi and apprised Khattar of the importance of the 76.4-km-long Metro Phase-2 project in the rapidly developing Hyderabad city.

During the meeting, Revanth Reddy briefed the union minister how the Metro Phase-2 would enable faster commuting, ease traffic congestion on the roads and also contribute to sustainable development.
