Hyderabad, Jan. 26 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will felicitate Padma Award recipients from the state in a grand ceremony to be held in Hyderabad shortly.
The Centre on Sunday announced the Padma Awards for 2026, comprising five Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri honours.
Seven distinguished personalities from Telangana have been selected for the Padma Shri this year for their outstanding contributions in fields such as science, engineering, medicine, arts, research and animal husbandry.
Additionally, four individuals from Andhra Pradesh were also named for the Padma Shri.
