Hyderabad, Aug. 31 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday launched a sharp attack on his predecessor K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), contrasting the Congress government's 1,000 days in office with the previous BRS regime and highlighting welfare, employment and infrastructure initiatives.
Speaking at a public meeting at Amberpet Municipal Grounds after inaugurating the 400-metre Moosarambagh High-Level Bridge, built for Rs 52 crore, Reddy charged the previous government with leaving Telangana under a heavy debt burden, and said the Congress government had ensured salaries were paid on the first of every month, released Rs 6,000 crore in retirement arrears, and expanded health security for employees and their families.
