Hyderabad, Sept. 23 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed Energy department officials to take steps to resume full-capacity power generation at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station before Dussehra, and asked them to procure the required G9-grade coal from Mahanadi Coalfields and Coal India.
The Chief Minister issued the directions during a high-level review of the Energy department, expressing concern over the stoppage of generation at the Yadadri plant due to shortage of the required grade of coal.
He directed Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka to meet union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy to discuss the coal supply issue and explore arrangements for procuring the required coal for power generation in Telanga...
