New Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb. 12 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at South Block and discussed the Gandhi Sarovar project being taken up as part of the Musi river revitalisation initiative.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister invited Rajnath Singh to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Gandhi Sarovar project, scheduled to be held in the last week of February.
He informed the Defence Minister that the programme would take place at the confluence of the Isa and Musi rivers, a site of historical significance where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were immersed in February 1948.
