Yadagirigutta (Telangana), May 23 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday laid foundation stones for various temple-related development works worth Rs 99.55 crore at the renowned Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple.

The projects include construction of a Veda Pathashala at a cost of Rs 43.80 crore, Swamy Vari Nitya Kalyana Mandapam atop the hill at Rs 9.87 crore, and a roof covering over the stairway route from Vaikuntha Dwaram to the hilltop at an estimated cost of Rs1.41 crore.

The Chief Minister also performed Bhumi Puja for the proposed Veda Pathashala at the temple shrine.

The ceremony was attended by Jagadguru Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati, head of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham.
