Hyderabad, July 13 -- : Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday met National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) Chairperson Kishore Makwana and briefed him on the state government's initiatives for the socio-economic empowerment of Scheduled Castes and reforms in the education sector.
According to an official release, the Chief Minister detailed the several measures being taken to eliminate caste discrimination among students and improve educational opportunities.
The meeting also discussed the implementation of Scheduled Caste categorisation and measures being taken for the welfare of SC communities.
