Hyderabad, May 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday expressed concern over the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 examination following allegations of paper leaks and irregularities, stating that such incidents had "demonetised" the future of students.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said the cancellation of the examination had caused enormous distress and uncertainty among lakhs of students and parents across the country.
He said nearly 22.79 lakh students who appeared for the examination conducted on May 3 across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad were now facing renewed anxiety because of paper leaks and serious irregularities in the examination process.
