Hyderabad, June 12 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of renowned shooter Jaspal Rana, describing him as one of India's most accomplished sportspersons and an inspiring mentor.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said Rana's outstanding achievements at the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games, along with his representation of India at the 1996 Olympics, brought immense pride to the nation.
Revanth Reddy noted that Rana also made significant contributions as India's High-Performance Coach for pistol events, playing a key role in nurturing young talent and strengthening the country's shooting ecosystem.
