Hyderabad, May 29 -- Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday called for a coordinated party-wide campaign on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, stressing that every effort must be made to ensure that no eligible voter's name is deleted.

Addressing a meeting of party leaders at Gandhi Bhavan, Revanth Reddy said it was encouraging that awareness about the SIR process was growing among party workers and the public.

He said leaders were increasingly recognising the difficulties that the exercise could create for ordinary citizens, particularly the poor, Congress workers, migrant labourers, tribal communities, women, Dalits and minorities.
