Hyderabad, May 11 -- Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharsan Reddy on Monday directed District Election Officers (DEOs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) to accelerate the voter mapping process under the proposed Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise and achieve 90 per cent progress by the end of this month.
The directions were issued during a video conference held from the CEO's office in Hyderabad with Collectors, DEOs, and EROs across the state. The CEO stated that the Election Commission of India would shortly announce the Special Intensive Revision programme.
