Hyderabad, May 23 -- The Telangana Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday evening approved the Next Generation Life Sciences Policy 2026-30 aimed at positioning Telangana among the world's top five life sciences hubs by 2030.

Under the policy, the government aims to attract investments worth USD 25 billion and generate five lakh jobs over the next five years.

The policy seeks to establish Telangana as a major destination for investments in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical innovation, while also creating employment opportunities in research, manufacturing, digital health and innovation sectors.
