Hyderabad, Sept. 1 -- Telangana BJP leaders on Tuesday urged Director General of Police (DGP) to order an immediate and impartial investigation into the alleged attacks on the party's State office in Hyderabad, Nalgonda district office and the residence of BJP Nalgonda district president Nagam Varshit Reddy.
In a representation to the DGP, BJP leaders alleged that some persons, purportedly associated with the Youth Congress, attacked the BJP State office in Hyderabad on Monday.
They also alleged that the portrait of Sant Ravidas was insulted by smearing a black substance on it and sought registration of cases under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, if the investigation established the offence.
