Hyderabad, Aug. 14 -- The Telangana BJP on Friday organised a large-scale 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Yatra in Hyderabad as part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations.
The rally began at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue near the State Secretariat and culminated at the Swami Vivekananda statue on Tank Bund.
Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao, BJP Mahila Morcha State President Mekala Shilpa Reddy, MP K. Laxman, MP Eatala Rajender, besides MPs, MLAs, MLCs, party office-bearers and others participated.
Addressing the gathering, Kishan Reddy urged people to hoist the national flag at their homes and participate in Tiranga Yatras to uphold patriotism and national unity.
