Hyderabad, Aug. 19 -- Total deposits with banks in Telangana increased by Rs 49,522 crore during the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, taking the aggregrate deposits to Rs 9,92,947 crore, according to the latest banking performance data released here on Wednesday.
Total advances of banks in the State increased by Rs 42,891 crore during the quarter to Rs 12,76,748 crore. The State's credit-deposit (CD) ratio remained above 100 per cent and stood at 128.58 per cent at the end of the quarter.
During the quarter, banks disbursed Rs 20,069 crore in short-term production loans, achieving 34.51 per cent of the Kharif targets, the Data stated.
