Hyderabad, Aug. 30 -- The Telangana Legislative Assembly session commenced at 10am today with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy moving a condolence motion on the demise of Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath.
Paying rich tributes, the Chief Minister recalled Gopinath's long public life and political journey that began with the Telugu Desam Party in 1983. From 1985 to 1992, Gopinath served as the Telugu Youth President of undivided Andhra Pradesh.
He also held positions such as Director of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (1987-88) and member of the District Consumer Forum (1988-93).
Revanth Reddy described Gopinath as a staunch follower of NTR and noted his contribution to cinema as a producer of films including Paathabasti (1995), ...
