Hyderabad, Sept. 21 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud today inaugurated the "Rajiv Gandhi Disability T20 Championship 2025" at Uppal Stadium. He stressed the state government's commitment to making Telangana a hub for sports.
Recalling former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's love for sports, Goud said efforts are underway to build an international-level stadium in the state's "Fourth City," similar to Uppal.
He highlighted Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's passion for sports, stating that under his leadership, the government is focusing on sports development to position Telangana as a sporting hub by the next Olympic Games.
