Hyderabad, May 22 -- Officials of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday caught an Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 in Medak district.

According to an ACB press note, Muddam Ramana Reddy, Assistant Divisional Engineer (Operations), Narsapur Division, was trapped at around 1240 hours in his office while demanding and accepting the bribe from a complainant.

The accused officer allegedly sought the bribe for forwarding 11 work bills of the complainant, amounting to Rs 3,13,882, to the Divisional Engineer, Electrical Operations, Medak, as an official favour.
